Month 3qualified organic leads

Allen Jacobi Law is an entertainment law firm with a strong reputation, but its website had indexing issues. Pages that are not indexed cannot appear in search results, so no amount of new content would have helped until that was fixed.

The order of the work

  • Resolve the indexing problems so the right pages could be found and listed.
  • Optimise the existing content for the searches clients use.
  • Add more long-tail keywords: longer, more specific phrases that match what people really type.

Traffic picked up within a month. By the third month, qualified leads were coming in through organic search.

Why the order matters

It is tempting to start by writing. But new content on pages that search engines cannot index is wasted effort. Checking indexing first tells you whether the problem is the pages themselves or simply that they are not being found.

Causes we check

  • Pages blocked by robots rules or marked noindex by mistake.
  • Duplicate pages or wrong canonical tags.
  • Thin or near-empty pages.
  • A missing or outdated sitemap.
  • Server errors and broken redirects.

These are typical causes, not a description of every site.

Our Village, a parenting services app, had a similar starting point: a good product with poor online visibility. After optimising the website and targeting the right keywords, traffic grew significantly and users started finding the app through organic search.

What we would do next

  • Keep watching the coverage report for new indexing issues.
  • Turn the long-tail searches that work into dedicated pages.
  • Measure enquiries, not just visits.
